I’m a creative and detail-oriented linguist, with a background in global event management, brand communications and business travel, alongside a lifelong passion for horses.

My qualifications and experience

I’ve been working as a professional translator since 2021 and have handled over a million words so far. I hold an MA in Translation with Distinction from the University of Surrey and a BA in German and Spanish from the University of Exeter.

My memberships

I’m an Associate Member (AITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and a Career Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). I’ve also joined the ITI Spanish Network, ITI German Network, ITI Marketing Network and ITI Surrey Regional Group. After my MA, I completed the ITI’s Setting Up as a Freelance Translator course and was honoured to be voted ‘Best in Class’ by the tutors.
